This is a really cool tutorial about how to make a paracord survival bracelet which you can wear outdoors and have about 8 feet of paracord available at all times. I have personally made several of them and am very happy with the way they turned out. Try it for yourself!

Paracord 550 can be used to make all kinds of useful items. Two more examples of making bracelets is shown below. The bottom video shows making a double braid that can be used as a belt (just add the hardware).
The nice thing about these bracelets and belts, is that you can just unzip them if you ever need the paracord in a crunch situation. With its 550 lb breaking strength and small diameter, it is the perfect tool for any emergency kit or emergency / camping tool set. If you haven't purchased it before, be sure to only buy mil-spec rated cord. There are a lot of manufacturers who produce other cord that is inferior to very inferior to the mil-spec products.
