    Lockpicking

In the last two weeks I have had to open several locks with my pick sets. This Urban skill is one of the most useful skillsets that I have obtained.
I have opened a Kyriptonite lock for on my friends chain to his grill, a master padlock to a friends shed, a friends house schlage deadbolt when the door locked behind him, my wifes minivan, a gunsafe, and a commercial building for law enforcement.
This is a great skill set to aquire and keep. So many uses for this.
My favorite set is the Bogota Titans. These picks are the best compact set I have used. The stainless and classics are great as well.
I also carry the jackknife set every day. All the locks I have opened have been with these two kits.
They are very small and light and can be placed in your front pocket every day ready for use.

I can attest to some of the lock picking skills that he has given me a couple of lessons and have picked a lock after he showed me how.

I have the red jackknife set and really like them as well.

I was board at work the other night I decided that I would try and pick the lock on my office door and I was able to do it within 30 seconds. the lock was a Medeco 5 pin lock, I used one of the trenchin wrenches from the jack knife and the rake from my Bogota set because of the tightness of the lock.

Nice jobe Grillman! You are getting better all the time.
I have to put in a word for the new Titanium Bogotas, the "Titans". These things ROCK! I love mine. The maker sent me a prototype set to test before production. I loved them. I know am on my 6th set, because as soon as my friends see them, they want them. These are the best picks I have ever used. These picks will most likely be all you ever need. Unless you are tackeling Asa Abloys and high end Medicos. I have picked quite difficult five spool pin corbins with these though. Matthew Fiddler regularly uses these in the international lock picking tournaments too.
    Very impressive equipment....

    Re: Lockpicking

There is a brand new book out by one of the best lockpickers in the world. Deviant Ollam has written an outstanding book on lockpicking and physical penetration. It comes with a DVD with pics and videos too. If you want to get into lockpicking, or increase your knowledge and results, this is a great book. Deviant runs lockpick village at DEFCON and Blackhat as well as many others. He is on the board of directors for TOOOL USA.
