Canning Meat
Wanted to share this method:
When canning deer meat, I add 1/2 tsp. dry beef granules to each pint of cubed deer
meat, plus water to 1" from top. Process in pressure canner for 90 minutes. It takes
on a beefy taste. I have made a beef vegetable soup for friends using this meat, and
they love the 'beef'' soup.
