Because she will be a major contributor in the cooking and recipes section, I thought it was only appropriate that we should introduce Chef Tess Bakeresse. She is a phenomenal chef, has fantastic knowledge in cooking with food storage items and will be a great asset to the forum. We are grateful to have her here! So...
Let me introduce our very own
Chef Tess Bakeresse...
My name is Stephanie Petersen, Tess for short. Tess is in fact a nickname given to me by my mother. Now I am a mom. That has been my main focus for the last 10 years. I am also a classically trained chef. I focused mainly on pastry but am experienced in most areas. I've worked in resort bakeshops, as banquet chef, and as display artist carving fruit all day!! Have I been true to my Chef side by focusing on my kids? Some say not. I have no regrets. I will never get these golden years back. In the meantime, I have been a part time culinary coach, and instructor for the past 5 years with great joy! I love seeing others succeed and find happiness in the kitchen. I am also a big believer in finding a connection to the creative soul within. The Culinary Artist seems to be in all who will truly seek it. It is for my children and for my students that I have started this writing collection. It is my pure love of the culinary world. A world that never seems to end and one I love to explore!
