In a survival situation every bit of food you can capture can mean the difference between living and dieing. A Pop Bottle Trap is a great way to catch small fish for food and or bait.

How to make the Fish Trap
    • With a Sharp Knife, cut off the top of the pop bottle. As shown above.
    • Shove the head of the bottle into the body of the bottle.
    • You can put a couple small scraps of bait or small insects in the bottle to attract small fish.
    • Place the bottle into the shallow water. (you can hold it in place with some small river rocks or mud.
    • Once the fish swim in they won’t be able to swim back out.

This is another favorite of mine. Works amazingly well. I have caught hundreds of crawdads in these. And some fish too. Find a dead fish on d shorline and put it inside the trap for crawdads bait.
BTW, this is the best bee trap I've used too. Simply stand it upright, and put about one inch of mountain dew in the bottle. You will litterally catch them by the dozens.
