Let me first unequivocally state, if you are looking for a General Purpose Multi tool this isn't it.

What rhe MUT is is a Firearms maintnance focused tool meant for the small arms used in our armed forces, hoever it provides the basic tools you would need to work on ANY modern firearm.
The only featuresb yuseful for mundane task are the wire cutter blades on th pliers, the pliers, wire crimpers knife blade and saw.

The tool has several sizescrew drivers, a small torx head a small allen head, the btool has places to use it as the handle for a military cleaning rod, it has a pin pushing rod that can push out trigger group pins etc. a bronze carbon scraper, a blade meant for cutting nylon straps/seatbelts etc. a end that serves as a small hammer for tapping out stubborn pins etc. a wrench with two ends perfectly mathed in sized to the mounting nuts on picatiiny rail accesories.

If you own a M-9,1911, AR-15/M4gery, M1A etc. this is your tool......I even used it to entirely replace a military stock on a M1903 springfield rifle!!!

Like i said if youy need a Multi Purpose tool for preparedness this isn't it, if you want a tool to maintain your own guns, replace parts in the field on them and stuff 99% of the tools you'll need will be included in the MUT.

Comes with a nylon case in Coyote Brown or Olive with MOLLE loops(these can still mount to a normal belt by not feeding the straps through the upper loops)

As for price...well like all Leatherman products you pay dearly, but in return you get a highly useful, well thought out, quality tool with a lifetime warranty.
