Darin Jensen referred me to this site. As a former boyscout, I grew up as an avid camper and understood the importance of being prepared and informed. Food storage and preparedness have always been important to me but has always haunted me; as I have yet to obtain all the necessary preparation needed in order to be comfortable with what I have. A few years ago I started a little family of my own and would like to make sure they are provided for as instability of some kind visits everyone from time to time. I do what's necessary to stay informed concerning our world, country and local community. If by joining this forum I am able to become better informed as to what's required on my part to be better prepared, then I'm all ears.
