FN 5.7X28 penetration test on Level IIIA Kevlar vest

I ran this test several times. On different occasions and in different parts of the country. The first time this test was done was with FN itsself, at a shoot in Oklahoma. FN provided the weapons and ammunition for a test to see if a unit wanted to purchase them. A brand new "police" level IIIA vest was shot and it failed to stop the round. Any of them, commercially available to everyone. So, I started telling units and departments and individuals about this. Some people did not believe the results. So I took a donated vest and videod the test. You will see many stupid comments by many dumb individuals on the video. These people dont understand what Kevlar is or how it works. Chairborne warriors. Level IIIA is Level IIIA weather its in a garbage bag, a new Paraclete carrier, or by itsself. This round does go through Kevlar, level IIIA. The IIIA rating says it will stop all handgun rounds up to a .44 Magnum. It does not. I put this up because many wannabees talk smack all over forums and blogs all over the internet and have Never tried it. They are putting out mis/untrue information that everyone who wears body armor should know.

I've heard this before. Good to see a live demonstration. Thanks! All police forces should have to review this video clip.
