A great introduction to a deadfall for trapping small critters...

i have two thought or observations with this "improved" figure four...
the first, is that by using a sharper angle than 45 deg. on the angle stick, it places the deadfall higher, making travel time longer to the strike...i would like to see this work on an animal...im thinking the deadfall might be too slow to crush a small animal....those little critters are lightning fast..
second, by using the half sticks, the weight of your deadfall is very limited...speed and kinetik energy will be diminished...
i would prefer a paiute deadfall over this one...
