Boot & Shoe Repair

Does anybody know where to buy the tools & equipment necessary to resole footwear? I'm not meaning how to make sandals from tires, but how to set up the ability to repair regular footwear. Any help & input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My father in law has found a couple whole coppler set ups...he found one at an auction, and one at a flea market...they even came with boxes of soles, tools, everything...
