Food item rations:


Bread or rice
Adult: ½ lb
Child: ¼ lb
Infant: ¼ lb
Beans or meat
Adult: ¼ lb
Child: ¼ lb
Infant: none
Vegetable
Adult: ¼ lb
Child: ¼ lb
Infant: ¼ lb
Fruit
Adult: ¼ lb
Child: ¼ lb
Infant: ¼ lb
Juice or milk
Adult: 1 cup
Child: 1 cup
Infant: 1 cup
Water
Adult: 2 cups
Child: 1 cup
Infant: 1 cup
Ration size is a per meal not per day amount.
Infant ages 0 - 2 years
Child ages 2 - 12 years
Adult ages 12 years on up


Strict rationing policies need to be enforced when there exists food shortages of possibilities of such
Rations should be distributed three times daily
Nursing mothers should be given double rations of beans and meat, and fluids
Rationing amounts should never be below substandard health levels
