1 tin Bag Balm antiseptic ointment
various assorted prescription medications needed by members of household
1 roll duct tape
1 bottle eye contact cleanser (if you use contacts)
1 pair extra eye glasses ( if you use eye glasses)

*Do not forget if you have small children or infants to include medicines for them. Also you may want to include any special medications that you need on prescription or otherwise.

I stock a few items for unconventional use:

Afrin nasal spray-constricts the blood vessels and helps stop nosebleeds
Saline Solution for contacts-is sterile and can be used to clean wounds
Medicated Douches-also contain sterile water for wound cleansing and come with a packet of iodine solution (hence the medicated part), which can be used for disinfection of wounds. ONLY get the medicated ones, though.
Dill pickle juice--a couple sips will relieve charlie horses. Sadly it doesn't work for other types of cramps.
Chloraseptic spray-can be sprayed on minor wounds, bug bits, scratches, etc. to numb them

I hope this will be helpful. I have used all of the above, which were recommended by family members or health care workers that I've known.
